Change of Mind Returns
If you’ve had a change of heart, you can return eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order.
Return Conditions
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, with all original seals intact.
- A refund will be issued once the return is approved.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.
- Exchanges are not available for change-of-mind returns.
How to Return an Item
1. Request a Return Authorisation – Email info@cosmetix.net.au before sending any items back.
2. Use a Trackable Shipping Method – We recommend insured, trackable shipping to avoid lost returns.
3. Inspection & Processing – Once received, our team will assess the return. If eligible, we’ll issue your refund promptly.
Returns That Don’t Meet Conditions
If an item is opened, used, not in its original condition, or does not have its original seal intact, we may decline the return. In this case, you will be responsible for any costs associated with reshipping the item back to you.
Faulty, Incorrect, or Damaged Items
We take quality control seriously, and in the rare event that you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product, we will resolve the issue promptly and at no cost to you.
How to Report an Issue
- Email us at info@cosmetix.net.au within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the issue.
- Once verified, we’ll offer a replacement or refund - whichever suits you best.
Missing Items or Supply Issues
If an item is missing from your order or a supply issue occurs, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll work quickly to resolve the issue for you.
Returned to Sender (RTS)
Orders may be returned to Cosmetix by Australia Post if:
- The shipping address provided was incorrect or incomplete (e.g., missing apartment number).
- The parcel was left unclaimed at an Australia Post outlet for over 14 days.
- Delivery was refused or the recipient is no longer at the address provided.
When this happens, Australia Post will return the parcel to us, and additional charges will apply.
RTS Fees & Refunds
- A $11.50 RTS fee (charged by Australia Post) will be deducted from the value of the returned goods. This deduction does not include the original shipping cost.
- If the original order qualified for free shipping or a discounted postage rate, a $19.95 fee (covering the RTS fee + original shipping cost) will be deducted.
Reshipping an RTS Order
If you would like your order to be re-sent, Cosmetix will charge a $12.95 fee, which covers both the RTS fee and the re-postage cost.
Allergic Reactions
We understand that allergic reactions can happen. If you experience one:
- Stop using the product immediately.
- Take clear photos of the reaction.
- Email us at info@cosmetix.net.au with your order details.
Important:
- The product must be at least 80% full to qualify for a return.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Lost or Damaged Orders in Transit
We ensure secure and fast delivery, but if your order is lost or damaged in transit, we’ve got you covered.
What to Do If Your Order Is Lost
· If your parcel hasn’t arrived, we’ll investigate with the courier (this can take up to 14 days).
· If confirmed lost, we’ll issue a full refund or a replacement.
What to Do If Your Order Arrives Damaged
- Report within 30 days of delivery.
- Send us photos of the damaged packaging and product.
- We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be modified, changed, or cancelled due to the way our system processes orders.
